Salzburg Archbishop Franz Lackner has to go to the home office because of two positive corona tests in his environment. As the Erzdi announced to Kathpress on Sunday evening, all bishops’ meetings of the chairman of the Austrian Week were postponed or switched to video conferences at short notice.
One person was informed of their positive PCR result on Saturday night. The second person had an antigen test on Sunday. Lackner himself was last tested negative on Sunday afternoon. He is fine and healthy. With a seven-day incidence of 1,757.8 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants, Salzburg currently has the highest value of all federal states.
