Innsbruck – The call arrived at the Tyrolean rescue control center at around 5 p.m. A woman said that “something bad should have happened”. When the emergency services arrived in a residential complex in Neustift in the Stubaital, they found the body of a 57-year-old man before the death – the victim had several stab wounds – and the woman and his daughter died. The 28-year-old had minor cuts on her hands.
“She was brought directly to medical treatment,” reported Katja Tersch, head of the State Criminal Police Office, in an initial statement. As to the exact course of the crime and the reason for the escalation of this dispute, there is still no knowledge by Sunday noon, as the accused is still undergoing medical treatment in the Innsbruck clinic and has not yet been interrogated due to her psychological state of emergency.
The 28-year-old should have gone to her father’s apartment on Saturday afternoon. There must have been a heated argument there. The condition of the apartment also suggests that, according to Tersch. The suspected murder weapon – a kitchen knife – was found at the crime scene.
