UHC Salzburg celebrates first win of the season

After a first half of the season without winning a point, UHC Salzburg celebrated their first victory in the 2nd handball Bundesliga on Saturday. Thanks to another strong defensive performance, the newcomer prevailed in third place in the table Linz / Edelweiß with 24:20 (10: 8). In a varied second half, teams put in 5-0 runs. Salzburg were now seven goals ahead and kept their nerve even after top scorer Sebastian Aufhauser was excluded, who scored five goals. Salzburg goalie Hamidreza Sharifi was in top form in the closing stages.
