Toulouse: a Christmas market and an ice rink in place for the holidays
Friday, November 26, the Christmas market returns to Place du Capitole for a month. With an ice rink.
After a 2019 edition, greatly reduced by the recurring demonstrations of yellow vests and a 2020 edition canceled due to a pandemic, the Christmas market is eagerly awaited this year by both the public and exhibitors. This event, which announces the holiday season just like the giant Ramblas tree and the multitude of decorations throughout the city, therefore returns to Place du Capitole from November 26 to December 26, 2021. A multitude of white chalets offers a wide range of selected products and articles: food, crafts from around the world, games and toys, decoration, clothing…. A market accompanied by gourmet areas for breaks after shopping.
An entertainment that appeals to young and old
A market that will not be alone on the site since it is accompanied by a 200 m2 skating rink. A godsend for all those who like skiing with their family or alone. Last year, this animation installed for the vacances of fevry with the temperature of 15 °, was criticized on social networks, during a period of global warming. And this despite the use of food grade glycol as a coolant and the installation of voltaic panels. Hopefully this time, the date of Christmas, more appropriate for the weather, will calm the spirits. An activity that appeals to young and old alike on the most beautiful square in Toulouse.
Christmas market on the Place du Capitole, from November 26 to December 26, 2021. Open every day from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm and until 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Info: www.marchedenoeltoulouse.fr
