PICTURE: The Blatnice feast chasa danced between the church and the town hall
/ PHOTO, VIDEO / Mud feast was, is and will be! Although a little different… Nevertheless, on Saturday afternoon after the town hall and the church of Andrew arrived local and cross-country. They could dance or just listen to the songs played by Marek Potěšil’s dulcimer music here.

Under the morning lighthouse built in the morning, a mainly costumed feast dancer danced into the bike. “Music, polka!” One of the dancers called to the dulcimer. They and their partners gradually added one dance after another. “What the feast chasa originally rehearsed for the classic mayor’s feast evening was demonstrated outside,” explained Svatava Blahynková from Blatnice at home. Due to the growing pandemic, the Blatnice family canceled the traditional Saturday feast evening this year. The newcomers could dance or sing at least in the open air.
In addition, in the ceremonial network, they were able to view an exhibition open on Friday, presenting the work of artists related to Blatnice. Among them are, for example, paintings by Tomáš Jan Dismas Bublák or works by the blacksmith Jaroslav Válek. “His moving exhibits are interesting,” said Deputy Mayor Antonín Hanák.
