March in Rouen and Dieppe against violence against women
A few days before the International Day against Violence Against Women, a rally was organized in Rouen (Seine-Maritime) to say “Stop gender-based and sexual violence”.
A little over a hundred people marched this Saturday afternoon (November 20, 2021) in the streets of Rouen to, as in many cities in France (including Dieppe), denounce violence against women.
At the call of the collective “All of us”, Norman feminist associations have found a way to demand more resources to help women victims of violence.
In Rouen, in order to symbolically retrace the – difficult – journey of a woman victim of domestic violence, a march was organized from the CHU. The procession crossed part of the city center to get to the courthouse after passing in front of the gendarmerie barracks.
