1860 coach Michael Köllner changes the starting eleven twice compared to the 1: 3 in Osnabrück: Belkahia and Steinhart replace the injured Lang and Greilinger (bank).
Duisburg coach Hagen Schmidt also made two changes: After Gembalies and Bakalorz replaced the yellow-banned Bretschneider and Pusch 1-0 against Viktoria Berlin.
From the start, both teams made it clear that they came here to score goals. While Mölders’ attempt (8th) still hit the crossbar, Bouhaddouz made it better two minutes later. With a nice header he put the guests from Duisburg in the lead (10th).
The Munich team didn’t need long for their answer: After Gembalies fouled Lex in the penalty area, Steinhart scored from the penalty spot to make it 1-1 (16 th).
No further goals before the break whistle, but both teams had chances. The best were given by Bouhaddouz, who hit the post (37th), and Biankadi (40th).
Gembalies also causes the second penalty
Even after the break, both teams looked for the direct route on the offensive. This plan initially bore fruit in 1860: Mölders played two opponents in the penalty area and then overcame Weinkauf with a low shot (54th). Steinhart could have increased Munich’s leadership after Gembalies again brought down Lex from Munich in the penalty area. Schütze Steinhart failed to buy wine this time (65th).
The game was still open and Duisburg took advantage of it promptly, but was caught cold shortly after: The interim equalization by a remarkable goal from Ademi (69th) was followed by another Munich lead by Bär (73rd). In the final phase, the Duisburgers lacked their strength and so there was no new turn in this strange game.
1860 travels to TSV Havelse on Saturday (2 p.m.), Duisburg opens the 17th round on Friday against Waldhof Mannheim (7 p.m.).
