Back to Back Festival: Sublime Morta Hands at Lisboa ao Vivo – Culture
I miss you, I miss the return to more alternative rock shows, in this first edition of the Back to Back Festival, divided between Lisbon, Friday, and Porto, this Saturday.
The poster promised, with Mão Morta and Bizarra Locomotiva as protagonists, supported by Process of Guilt and Quartet of Woah.
And it was the latter to open up as hostilities with a pure rock n’ roll concert in the new room at Lisboa ao Vivo.
A great warm-up to prepare the entry on stage of the Cult Process, named as one of the representatives of the new driving force of industrial rock and national ‘doom metal’.
The quartet unleashed enough adrenaline and ferocity for the audience that almost filled the room.
Bizarra Locomotiva enters the scene to, in little more than an hour, show an industrial rock that maintains overwhelming rhythms
The new work ‘Fenótipvs’ was the main focus of interest, but the group preferred to review the discography, highlighting themes such as ‘Druidas’ or ‘Gatos do Asfalto’.
And now it’s time for Mão Morta, to prove why it continues to be one of the most solid projects in Portuguese rock.
The last album ‘No Fim Era o Frio’ remains the main figure, but there was no lack of classics such as ‘Anarchista Duval’, ‘Bófia’ or ‘Sitiados’.
Intense atmosphere, as only the group from Braga can show, with Adolfo Luxúria Canibal putting an end to the daring night on stage, which is no longer even unprecedented in his performances.
The Back to Back Festival closes this Friday at Hard Club do Porto, with the same schedule and band lineup.
– 7:30 pm: Woah’s Quartet;
– 20:15: Fault Process;
– 9:10 pm: Bizarre Locomotive;
– 22:40: Dead hand.
The enclosure’s doors open at 6:30 pm and tickets, at 20 euros, are on sale at the usual places.
According to Covid-19’s prevention and contingency plan in the two rooms, flight carriers must present a digital certificate from the European Union, proof of having performed a test to screen for SARS-CoV-2 infection; or recovery certificate.
The use of a mask, although not mandatory, is recommended whenever it is not possible to maintain physical distance.
