United Russia has drafted a food-sharing bill that will allow retailers to demand expiring products. This is reported in Telegram channel party.
The legislative initiative will provide businesses with an equal choice between disposing of goods and transferring them to those in need. It has already been supported by retail trade networks and the Ministry of Economic Development.
“The volume of charitable support can be multiplied if the business of goods is oriented by non-profit organizations, without paying VAT. Today he is forced to pay 20% for actually doing a good deed. This is unfair, ”said Artem Metelev, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy.
He expressed hope that the government would support this bill so that it could be considered at the State Duma.
Earlier in the Central Bank statedthat in 2022 in Russia there are possible risks of a repeated sharp rise in food prices.
