Portugal Cup. Portimonense solved the knockout in Penafiel in the first half
Aylton Boa Morte advanced Portimonense, in the 26th minute, and scored four minutes later, before Angulo made the third, in the 42nd minute, and set the final result, in a game in which the effectiveness of the Algarve, more experienced and with better performers, ended up making a difference.
The Penafidelenses even defined better, managed to score goals, but failed to finish, evident in the waste of Feliz Vaz and Robinho, in the same bid, in the eighth minute, and, later, in the 17th minute, it was Roberto to test Nakamura’s reflexes .
The Algarve, until then more concerned about adjusting to the opponent, only needed a quick exit to make the difference: Nakajima, in the 26th minute, led the counterattack, and, at the entrance to the opposite area, served on the right Aylton, who ‘shot’ Caio Secco.
Shortly after, a similar move earned Portimonense the second, but this time Aylton opted to ‘stick’ the ball when Penafiel’s goalkeeper left, who would be hit again close to half-time, in yet another ‘bomb’ by Angulo , with time and space at the entrance to the Penafiel area.
The second half was less busy, with the Algarve managing the result, facing an opponent apparently resigned, even giving to the game the Penafidelense Vasco Braga, who added the first minutes of the season, after a prolonged absence due to injury.
