More than 150 animation professionals demonstrate in Toulouse for describing their working conditions
Animation professionals discovered this Friday, November 19, in front of the Haute-Garonne prefecture for the recognition of their profession, before being eco-friendly by the police.
At the call of the National Union of CGT Unions of Staff of Social, Sports and Cultural Associations and Organizations (USPAOC), more than 150 organizers declared, this Friday, November 19, in front of the prefecture in Toulouse to explain their working conditions and demand recognition for their profession.
The unions are asking, pell-mell, for an increase in salary (1,800 euros gross), “the end of part-time work”, the establishment of a system limiting cuts during the day, training courses, educational resources additional, etc.
Above all, the demonstrators denounce a rate of supervision of students in schools which, by decision of the town hall of Toulouse, passes on January 1, 2022 from one supervisor for 18 elementary students (against one for 14 currently) and one for 14 kindergarten students (one for every 10 currently).
A delegation was received for three quarters of an hour at the prefecture and submitted its demands. “With the rate of supervision which will increase, we will be less animators on the ground for the same number of children, laments Elodie, Clae animator at the Lakanal school in Toulouse. We will go from 20 animators to 11 for the noon period. It’s dramatic: it means fewer activities, projects and facilitators in difficulty. “
Around 12 noon, “for no valid reason”, assures a protester. The CRS, abnormally numerous for this good-natured mobilization, “blocked all the passages, generated people to leave, except by two, it lasted until 2 pm, we did not understand why”, confided a host .
Regarding this disproportionate maneuver of dispersal, the prefecture is justified: “Some demonstrators wanted to make an undeclared demonstration in the city center while the declared demonstration was a static gathering near the Place Saint-Etienne, which in effect took place. unfolded without incident.
