Lyon: Bloom Inside launches an online service for the development of tertiary spaces
Anne-Sophie Mulliez, Henri Coullomme-Labarthe and Frédéric Darmon created Bloom Inside in September 2019. Specializing in interior architecture, acoustics and lighting, and ergonomics, the three partners advise companies, hotel-restaurants, hospitals, schools, etc. the development of their spaces.
Sogelink, ArchiMed, the Lyon-Villeurbanne Médipôle have requested their approach combining design and functionality for a better quality of life at work. “Our projects were stopped by the health crisis and the confinements. We then exchanged photos and plans with our customers, but were confronted with the limits of the means of communication”, explains Anne-Sophie Mulliez.
Reduced time and costs
This is where the idea of a platform to digitize the development of professional spaces was born. My Design Office allows you to obtain online layout plans, 3D views with decorative concept and a list of furniture. Customers can be supported from project design to on-site installation of furniture for surfaces up to 1,000 m2.
In line with the ecological transition, the furniture comes from French and European partners registered in an eco-responsible approach. “We offered various optional services such as studies and recommendations for lighting and acoustics, a 3D virtual tour, a battle of architects with two competing projects …”, adds the president. This online service reduces the time, but also the cost of a project.
“The digital solution halves the cost of a project”, says the interior designer. For a tertiary space of 40 m2, it will take an average of € 750 for the design of a complete layout and € 7,000 for all furniture and equipment.
80 projects online in 2022
At a time when companies are looking to bring their employees back to the office, there are many requests for the development of attractive spaces adapted to new working methods. “SMEs want more collaborative spaces for working in project mode, but also spaces of conviviality for informal exchanges”, confirms the president.
For this new service, the Bloom Inside team has grown and now has 8 people. “In 2022, we expect to carry out around 80 projects online for a turnover of 420,000 €. In 2023, we expect 1.5 M € of turnover and want to develop in Europe with an English version of our platform “, indicates Anne-Sophie Mulliez.
