Bizarre statistics for Dallinga, 4-4 in Amsterdam and fireworks problems

Excelsior is the new frontrunner in the Kitchen Champion Division. The team of coach Marinus Dijkhuizen won 1-5 against Helmond Sport on Friday evening, partly due to a hat trick by competition top scorer Thijs Dallinga, who now has twenty goals from sixteen matches. Competitor FC Volendam drew against Jong Ajax in a true spectacle: 4-4. At the moment, both teams have 32 points and Excelsior is at the top on the basis of the goal difference, but Volendam still has a game credit. At Telstar – ADO Den Haag (0-2) and FC Den Bosch – TOP Oss (1-0) there were disturbances despite the lack of public.

Young Ajax – Volendam 4-4
The duel between Jong Ajax and Volendam was less than eighteen minutes away until five goals had already been scored. The home team opened the score through Max de Waal, who scored beautifully from a free kick. After Youri Regeer had doubled the score on the indication of Sontje Hansen, Gaetano Oristanio took advantage of a miscommunication in the defense among the team from Amsterdam. After fifteen minutes Ajax lifted the games to two via Christian Rasm play to two via Christian Rasm play to two via Christian Rasm play to two via Christian Rasm play to two via Christian Rasm play to two via Christian Rasm play to two via Christian Rasm to two via Christian Rasm shoved the ball into Robert Mühren’s feet a minute later, who outplayed the goalie and made his fifteenth of the season: 3-2. Kenneth Taylor told Ajax to shoot in a safe harbor before half-time with the fourth Amsterdam goal from the penalty spot. In the final phase of the game, Volendam, however, opened up two more times and shielded it via Martijn Kaars (a striker) and Denso Kasius (beautiful shot from a distance) miraculously reached a point over to the goal fest: 4-4.

Helmond Sport – Excelsior 1-5
In the past three Excelsior matches (3-4 defeat against FC Eindhoven, 2-5 win against Telstar and 4-4 draw Almere City), a total of 22 goals were scored. A new goal-fest in Helmond soon seemed imminent, because in the seventeenth minute Excelsior already scored 0-2. Siebe Horemans opened the score from a twisting free kick by Julian Baas, later Reuven Niemeijer for the 0-2 when he got a hold of the ball to reach Gaétan Bosiers van Helmond Sport unintentionally extended a pass from Dallinga. After the break Jules Houttequiet hit the bar on behalf of Helmond, later Dallinga scored three times. The league top scorer made the 0-3 on Horemans’ indication, took care of the 0-4 from a distance and finally in the final phase the final score at 1-5; in between, Jellert van Landschoot had scored for Helmond.

FC Dordrecht – De Graafschap 0-4
All goals were scored in the second half by De Graafschap. Before the break, the game was in balance and Dordrecht gave little away; Shortly after the break, Jasper van Heertum scored with a header from a corner of Hicham Acheffay. Joey Konings doubled the margin from a rebound, after goalkeeper Liam Bossin saved on a bet by Jonathan Opoku. With a powder in the transactions of Philip Brittijn for 0-3 and Danzell Gravenberch, the injury time was in the right place at the near post to determine the final score at 0-4. De Graafschap increased the concerns of Dordrecht, which is in last place with ten points from sixteen games.

FC Emmen – Young PSV 2-0
After just under twenty minutes FC Emmen opens the score. Rui Mendes had a shooting opportunity from the edge of the sixteen-meter area and goalkeeper Maxime Delanghe’s modified effort was too powerful. Two minutes before half time, Mendes had an opportunity to double his production, but in a one-on-one situation with Delanghe, he played the ball too far ahead. Reda Kharchouch decided the match in the second act in favor of Emmen. The substitutes received the ball from Azzed Toufiqui and the first official goal for Emmen was scored behind the longchoof.

Telstar – ADO The Hague 0-2
At ADO Den Haag, in the run-up to the duel with Telstar, all the attention was focused on Eljero Elia, who announced his return to the club on Thursday. He started on the bench and saw Thomas Verheydt lift the lead to 0-1 after more than half an hour of play, when he swung away from his existing one and drove the ball into the trades. This makes the strikers tenth of the season and on Friday evening he is the only player to have doubled in each of the past four Kitchen Champion Division seasons. Even before the opening goal, referee Erwin Blank had stopped the game among supporters from outside the stadium with fireworks on the field. The score was immediately doubled by Vicente Besuijen, who was in the right place on a missed penalty by Verheydt: 0-2. Elia came within the lines for Samy Bourard fifteen minutes before the end and therefore his return in the shirt of the Hagenezen.

VVV Venlo – FC Eindhoven 2-0
Eindhoven is the big surprise in the Kitchen Division this season and managed to win the last three matches, but had to recognize the champion. On the stroke of rust, Braken was in the right place to shoot a cross by Joeri Schroijen from the enemy of the field hard against the ropes: 1-0. The Limburgers also had the better of the game in the second half. The team of corner crack the game after more than an hour of play in the slot via Mitchell van Rooijen, who headed from a kick. Eindhoven still had to force a connecting goal, but the moments of excitement were very few on the second goal of VVV.

FC Den Bosch – TOP Oss 1-0
Spectators are more welcome at matches, but the duel in De Vliert was briefly interrupted in the first half when fans of the home team did not enter the stadium and set off fireworks. At that time it was 1-0: occasional striker Ryan Leijten, actually an attacking midfielder, was able to finish from close range above goalkeeper Norbert Alblas and parried a bet from Roy Kuijpers. Both in the second first following progress for TOP to get up to speed. Stuy van den Herik, dean Guezen and Jearl Margaritha, among others, were threatening, but keeper Wouter van der Steen van Den Bosch pays attention several times.

Roda JC – Young AZ 2-2
Young AZ remained without a win in the last five games, but did visit Roda JC after more than ten minutes. After controlling the ball with the bottom of the right-hand corner, Yusuf Barasi shot the ball nicely into the right-hand corner: 0-1. For a long time, Maarten Martens’s team was unable to play from the 15 minutes, as Anthony Limbom tied the game. On the indication of Xian Emmers, it was a breeze for the attacker to slide the ball into the empty goal. Roda then gained momentum and had opportunities through Patrick Pflücke and Richard Jensen, but both times Sem Westerveld was in the way. After more than an hour of play, the AZ goalie managed to put Roda’s apparent victory in his feet, when he put the ball into Dylan Vente’s goalie: 2-1. Jelle Duin ensured that the Alkmaarders were left with a point for a final minute: 2-2.

Almere City FC – MVV Maastricht 0-2
The first half only ignited in injury time: a bet by Jeffry was removed from the line, later Tim Receveur was also close to a goal. In the second half, however, it was MVV that came on. Sven Blummel curled the ball into the far corner shortly after the break. Almere City had a great opportunity to come alongside when a handball from Orhan Dzepar developed into a penalty kick, but goalkeeper Romain Matthys saved Jonas Arweiler’s shot. Nine minutes before the end, Blummel decided the game in favor of MVV.

NAC Breda – Young FC Utrecht 1-1
Jong FC Utrecht hopes to recover after the embarrassing 0-6 defeat against FC Eindhoven two weeks ago, but fell behind in Breda shortly after the break. After a cross by Thom Haye, the ball got stuck in the penalty area and Julliani Eersteling’s last push resulted in the goal being scored in the penalty area. Eleven minutes later, Raymong Huizing tied the score with a hard shot on a free kick by Rayan El Azrak. NAC was most certainly looking for the winning goal, but it never came.
