Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – New ramps and lifts: More train stations in Hesse are to become more modern and barrier-free. A corresponding framework agreement is signed today by representatives of the company, the state, the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) and the North Hessian Transport Association (NVV) at Frankfurt Central Station. The funds will primarily benefit small and medium-sized train stations. The aim is to get even more people to travel by train. Such agreements had already existed before, the most recent in 2011 being the conversion of 93 train stations in the country.
