VENICE | CRUISE WORKERS: “WE ABANDONED, WE LIVE IN UNCERTAINTY” – ANTENNA TRE
11/18/2021 VENICE – After months of silence, workers return to make their voices heard by launching an appeal to politics and institutions: “we have been abandoned, we live in uncertainty and we need answers” .__________________________________________________________ || The high water of 2019, then the covid. The cruise sector in Venice managed to get up despite the blow taken with the restart last June 5, but then the final blow came. Unesco with the ultimatum to get the ships out of the lagoon, and the almost immediate decree which, to date, has not yet been implemented and leaves the workers in uncertainty. The problems to be faced are many and time is running out.
