Portugal Space launches Portuguese Space Catalog
The Portuguese Space Agency – Espaço Portugal, will present this week, during the Ministerial Summit of the European Space Agency (ESA), the catalog Espaço Portugal – Overview of the Portuguese space ecosystem, an in-depth portrait of the ecosystem of the Portuguese space sector.
The document, which is based on an inquiry launched into the space ecosystem, revealed the existence of 52 companies and 30 research centers whose main activity (or part of this activity) takes place in the space sector.
The Portuguese Space Catalog, now available for online consultation, highlights the vision that each company and research institution has for the sector, but also the respective products, services, applications, technologies and R&D projects.
The purpose of this publication is to increase the visibility of the space ecosystem at national and international level and also serve as a working tool for professionals in the sector to identify business potentials in space activities.
