The visit of the delegation of the University of Suceava to Chisinau focused on strengthening the academic collaboration between the two higher education institutions, and in his speech to the Rector of USM, Igor Sharov, thanked the University “Stefan cel Mare” in Suceava for the effort to successfully complete the projects . between the two higher education institutions, stating: “We are pleased with the large number and interest shown by our students in the double degree master’s programs.” He specified that, currently, USV and USM are running two master’s programs with a double degree, “Theory and practice of translation”, initiated in 2015 at the Faculty of Letters and Communication Sciences, and “Audit and corporate governance”, started at Faculty of Economics, Administration and Business in 2017, as well as the bachelor’s program “Finance and Banking”, within the Faculty of Economics, Administration and Business, initiated in 2020.
The rector of USV, Valentin Popa, also reminded that the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava was the first university in Romania to identify financial means to pay all expenses related to the travel of teachers for the activities required in the double study programs. diploma. At the same time, he discussed the possibility of increasing the number of double degree programs organized by the two universities.
During Wednesday’s meeting, a number of related topics were discussed, such as the compatibility of study programs, internships and documentation for the development of bachelor’s and master’s theses, mutual participation in scientific conferences and the publication of articles.
