In Toulouse, a trio of comedians takes the reins of Studio 55, a new theater dedicated to comedy
They are well known in the Pink City and in the region, the members of the trio “Toulousain!” have been entrusted with the artistic direction of a new theater which has just opened its doors. Called Studio 55 and able to accommodate 240 spectators, it will be dedicated to humor.

It is a daring bet in this period of health crisis that the leaders of Cobalt, the first third place of Toulouse: open a new theater. And it is chosen made since November 10 and the inauguration of the Studio 55. A brand new hall of 350 square meters with a capacity of 240 spectators. At its head, Mélissa Billard, Fred Menuet and Pat Borg, well known to the Occitan public. For ten years, the trio have created no less than eight shows, seen by more than 200,000 spectators, in the region and beyond, and have also met with great success with their web series Toulousain! which displays more than three million views.
A new setting for the three actors who will obviously play their own plays but also program comedians from all walks of life with the ambition of offering spectators a panorama of the current humorous scene. “We will try to work on comedy in all its forms. So we have these shows that are deeply rooted in Toulouse culture, we have others that are not at all, and we will be able to choose other shows.», Explains Mélissa Billard.
“There will also be plenty of new things, friends of ours, guests, favorites that we had and that we want to introduce to the public, the one who follows us or the one who will come to discover us“, adds Pat Borg. In the meantime, the trio is already back on the stage and resumes since the opening of Studio 55 several of these shows with scheduled dates until January.
