Expo 2020 Dubai is the first world expo where each participating country has its own pavilion.
Each of the country’s 192 pavilions – spread across the three main districts of sustainability, mobility and opportunity – will have the chance to showcase their innovations and strategies.

Here’s a look at eight more of the 192 pavilions at this year’s event.
Denmark
Architect: Madison Group | Location: Mobility District
Visitors to the Danish pavilion can participate in building a 6.5m long LEGO Viking ship, hear historical stories or visit the SME-themed area from a wide range of industries.
Meanwhile, a rooftop bar and restaurant concept offers indigenous cuisines and drinks.
Cuba
Architect: Thematic District Pavilion Location: Sustainability District
The Cuban pavilion aims to recreate a vibrant scene located in the streets of Havana with local music.
Visitors can learn to do the wonders of the country through a collaborative game or learn to dance the Cha-cha-cha. Guests can also choose to download mojitos made with sugar from Cuban cane.
Monaco
Expert: AODA, OOS | Location: Opportunity District
The polygonal pavilion of Monaco, which is inspired by the ‘Rock of Monaco’, offers a multi-sensor journey through mirrored exhibition spaces, replicating the view and smells of the French Riviera.
The ‘Kaleidoscope’ will showcase the country’s art, culture and innovation, while visitors can tap into the ‘Garden of Opportunities’ to soak in the country’s warm climate.
Georgia
Architect: Thematic District Pavilion Location: Sustainability District
Through physical and digital displays, as well as an immersive narrative, the Georgian pavilion brings the country’s history to life. Bridging the gap between Europe and Asia, the pavilion offers visitors the opportunity to learn all about ancient traditions of wine production.
Guests can also learn about one of the most ecologically diverse places in the world, which includes 12 climate zones.
Indonesia
Architect: PT Wijaya Karya | Location: Opportunity District
The Indonesian pavilion will showcase an archipelago full of opportunities from partnerships, natural wonders, craftsmanship, and emerging technologies. Visitors will be able to enjoy cultural exhibitions originating from different regions of the archipelago, art exhibitions as well as tasting local and indigenous cuisines.
The pavilion will also offer an insight into how the Southeast Asian country is developing science and technology, and is sharing its local knowledge and innovations with the world.
Italy
Expert: CRA-I.Rota-Matteo Gatto-F & M | Post: Al Forsan
The Italian pavilion uses architecture for a creative presentation of ‘beauty that unites people’. On display are multidisciplinary skills, talent and ingenuity that can promote educational, professional and business opportunities.
The pavilion, created with contributions from partner companies of all dimensions, contains exhibition areas and functional spaces for other events and initiatives.
Lebanon
Expert: Biel Group | Location: Opportunity District
The Lebanese pavilion offers technology-related activities focusing on youth empowerment and sports, among other areas. Visitors can also enjoy live performances, workshops, conferences and themed festivals.
Malta
Architect: Thematic District Pavilion Location: Opportunity District
Products such as handmade jewelery, filigree items, paintings and more are being offered in the Malta pavilion. The space aims to transport guests to see deep-rooted societal connections, rising artistic communities and profound cultural impacts.
