There are 126 classes in quarantine due to the coronavirus in Liguria. Of these, at least 79 are in kindergarten, primary and first grade primary school, therefore with the great majority of non-vaccinable students.
This is a relatively small number if we consider that there are 4213 classes in Genoa alone.
In the territory of the Asl3 Genovese there are 21, in that of the Asl 4 Chiavarese 27, of the Asl 5 Spezzino 15, in the Asl 1 Imperiese 41, in the Asl 2 Savonese 22.
In Genoa with 21 quarantined classes, 270 under 12 and 360 over 12 are involved.
In the province of Genoa (Asl4), with the exception of the metropolitan area, 27 classes are in quarantine with 2 teachers and 2 positive pupils. One class is in kindergarten, 10 in primary school, 8 in lower secondary school and 8 in high school.
In the province of Imperia there are 41, with 27 who have gone into quarantine in the last few days. Here 88 students and 8 operators are positive. Seven classes are in kindergarten, 16 are the “Dad” classes in primary schools, 11 in lower secondary schools, 7 in high school. Another 19 classes are in the so-called “testing” phase and some of these could be closed in the next few days following the results of the swabs.
In the province of La Spezia (Asl5) there are currently 15 quarantined classes with 16 positive pupils and three from the school staff. Seven classes are in kindergarten, 3 in primary school, 3 in lower secondary school and 2 in high school. There are 24 classes in ‘testing’.
In the province of Savona there are 22 quarantined classes. Positive pupils are 18 and positive among school staff are 5. Two classes are in kindergarten, 8 in primary school, 3 in lower secondary school and 9 in high school.
