2021 Absolute Italian Weightlifting Championships Finals in San Marino – Il Tempo
ROME (ITALPRESS) – The finals of the 2021 Italian Absolute Olympic Weightlifting Championships will take place on the weekend of 20 and 21 November. On the occasion, it will be possible to admire the best Italian weightlifters on the stage of San Marino, which hosts the blue event by virtue of the historic friendship that binds the two weightlifting federations. A few days before the Esordienti finals in Verona, which awarded the best under 13 and under 15 in Italy, the high-level Olympic weightlifting is back as the protagonist with 126 athletes and 123 athletes of all ages who will compete at the MultiEventi Sport Domus della Repubblica San Marino. It starts with the 55 kg / 61 kg categories for men, and ends with the last race of the 87 kg / +87 kg categories for women. The two days will be enhanced by the ceremony on Saturday 20 November during which the Italian and San Marino Olympic medalists will be awarded, in the presence of the highest officials of San Marino and Fipe. In fact, the three Italian champions who have excited with their successes in Tokyo will be present: Mirko Zanni, Giorgia Bordignon and Nino Pizzolato, protagonists of a moment of celebration dedicated to them. Together with them also the blue-white athletes, who won the first Olympic medals in Tokyo: the shooter Alessandra Perilli, who won bronze in the Trap specialty and silver together with Gian Marco Berti in the mixed trap, and Myles Amine who won the bronze medal in wrestling.
