The Paris-Toulouse line is one of the most late intercity in 2020
In contrast, night trains do much better. “Their punctuality has improved in the continuity of the year 2019, like the Paris-Gare d’Austerlitz – Latour de Carol link”, notes the report. This line, passing through Toulouse is even at the top of the ranking of the lowest rates of delay.
Due to the lack of TGV running to Toulouse for the moment, this AQST report does not allow us to know the delay rate of the Paris Montparnasse – Toulouse Matabiau link passing through Bordeaux. We note all the same that the Paris – Bordeaux line does not appear among the most late of the TGV lines.
With an estimated delay rate of between 7 and 9% in 2020, the TERs in Occitania were more punctual than in 2019 (- 1.5%). This rate was around 14% in 2018. Carole Delga, President of the Regional Council of Occitanie, moreover was offended, the Region massively financing these lines.
The objective set in 2018 in the agreement signed between SNCF and the region a maximum delay rate of 9% on the 2020 TERs therefore seems, against all expectations, well respected. This improvement between 2019 and 2020 is the second largest in France.
