Portugal with nine more deaths and 2,527 new cases. Rt and increase go up
FORPortugal has registered, in the last few hours, nine more deaths (a 0.05% change) and 2,527 new cases (a 0.23 increase) – the highest number of infections since 2 September, the day the bulletin reported 2,830 infections, but there were 848 late positive tests, and August 26, when there were 2,552 – related to Covid-19.
The data are from the most recent epidemiological bulletin, revealed this Wednesday by the General Directorate of Health (DGS). In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, our country has counted 18,283 deaths and 1,112,682 infections.
active cases there are 1,528 more – making a total of 39,800. There are 990 more recovered, now being 1,054,599. as to surveillance contacts, are 36,180, 1,639 more than yesterday.

Characterization by Region
By regions, the North totaled, in the last hours, 616 cases and two mortals. Not center, there were over 620 infections and three deaths.
Lisbon and Tagus Valley it continues to be the area of the country with the highest absolute values of cases (428,904) and deaths (7,772). Since yesterday, it has registered 849 new cases and three deaths.
O Alentejo counted 140 more cases but no deaths in the last hours, while the Algarve had another 215 infections and one fatal victim.
In the Autonomous Regions, the Azores reported 44 new infections and the wood 43. None of the archipelagos recorded any deaths.

Risk Matrix
Portugal is in ‘red zone’ of the risk matrix. According to the DGS report this Tuesday, both the increase and the Rt increased in Portugal.
AN incident it is 173.7 cases of infection by SARS-CoV-2 per 100 thousand inhabitants nationwide, a figure that was integrated into the 172.9 cases of infection by SARS-CoV-2 per 100 million inhabitants if we only count the continent .
O Rt stands at 1.17.
