Ligue 1. The prefect prohibits the movement of Marseille supporters to Lyon

Sunday November 21 at 8:45 p.m., the Gones will receive the Olympique de Marseille at Groupama Stadium. But while Ligue 1 has been shaken by the overflows of supporters since the start of the season, the Rhône prefecture announced several measures on Wednesday, November 17.
The Marseille supporters will initially be prohibited in downtown Lyon, Saturday from 8 am to midnight, “in order to prevent possible incidents and disturbances to public order”.
The precise perimeter
Here is the perimeter where the circulation and parking of the person claiming to support Marseille will be prohibited: quai Jean Moulin, place Louis Pradel, rue Puits
Gaillot, Place des Terreaux, Rue d’Algérie, Quai Saint Vincent, Pont de la Feuillée, Rue Octavio Mey, Montée St Barthélémy, Rue de l’Antiquaille, Place des Minimes, Rue des Farges, Montée du Gourguillon, Montée des Epies, Quai Fulchiron, Abbé Couturier footbridge, rue Sala, quai Gailleton, quai Jules Courmont, quai Jean Moulin.
No OM supporters at the stadium
Access to Groupama Stadium will also be regulated. Also between 8 a.m. and midnight, Marseille supporters will be banned in the vicinity of the stadium, but also on the lanes marked out in Décines-Charpieu and Meyzieu: rue Sully, route de Jonage, avenue
de Verdun, chemin de la Combe aux loups, avenue du Carreau, blv du 18 juin 1940, avenue
Pierre Mendès France, rue du Rambion, chemin de Chassieu in Meyzieu, chemin de Chassieu, rue Voltaire, avenue de France, rue Marceau, rue Sully.
“In addition, the possession, transport and use of all firecrackers or devices
pyrotechnics and any object that can be used as a projectile, the possession and
transport of any alcoholic drink will be prohibited ”in the perimeters mentioned and the surroundings of the stadium, recalls the prefecture.

OM threatened to lose a point
Olympique de Marseille, which is still awaiting a potential sanction from the Professional Football League, after new incidents that erupted during the reception of Paris on October 24, 2021.
Parisian players were notably the target of projectile throws when they approached corner points, on several occasions during the match.
After the incidents that had erupted against Nice in August, OM had received a suspended point withdrawal, and are still under this threat.
