Legendary Jozef Pátrovič from the show Česko Slovensko has talent: he sends an unexpected link to Jar Slávik
It is getting closer! The culmination of the Czech Slovakia’s talent casting rounds will be the traditional performance of the legend of this show, Jozef Pátrovič (80).
The singing retiree also told us why he had a problem with his a statue, as the jury without Lucie Bílej suits him, and bequeathed one gratifying thing to Jar Slávik.
Many are waiting for them to appear in this year’s edition. How does it look?
I sang to Earth named Love, I’ll give it, but I don’t know when, they didn’t tell me. Nothing, they usually offer me one last time. (laughs) But I don’t like the statue.
Do you mean Zlatý Pátrovič?
Yes. They present it as something inferior.
Maybe it would be best if you gave it to you. Didn’t you want to make it this way?
Yes, I should give it, I would give it to those who deserve it … Even some time ago, the woman there surrounded such morons until my stomach turned. After we give you Pátrovič. And she didn’t want to. I wouldn’t give her Judas either!
In the meantime, you have reportedly become professional and you also have your own manager. How did you get to him?
That’s what Dominik lured me to. He is a young man from Žilina radio. They called me about two years ago, we met in Žilina, we started making some recordings and then he suggested that he manage me. So the river is good. I don’t like working with computers, with mobile phones, I like to have peace in nature.
Do you watch the whole years Czech Republic Slovakia has talent even as a spectator?
Yes of course.
How would you rate this show, its level?
Hmm, that level is dropping. I can’t understand it. It used to be cultural, now it’s untied.
But in the meantime, the jury changed, Lucie Bílá left her, who didn’t like you very much …
But no, it was just like that … It sparked between us, but we weren’t angry with each other.
I wanted to ask if Marta Jandová suits you better.
This is not a jury. It’s practically the same. There is no problem. Jaro Slávik was just a little more critical of the last three years, because I rejected Ostrava, the whole of Moravia. He had my performances of 400 euros ready there and I told him: “It’s a long way, Mr. Slavik, I’m old, I’m tired of it all.” He then had to give it up, he lost his business. He’s been a little upset with me ever since.
