The capital has prepared a new campaign, with which it wants to persuade the unvaccinated inhabitants of the metropolis to get vaccinated. Visually, the campaign is similar to the summer version, but this time it does not target different places, but the events associated with the winter holidays.
“Our goal is to convince 28 percent of Praguers who have not been vaccinated and have not yet survived the covid. These people will have a problem with functioning from Monday, it is over 300,000 people over the age of 18, “said Mayor Zdeněk Hřib after Friday’s meeting of the Prague Crisis Staff.
He expects an increased interest in vaccinations in this group due to a number of forbidden things for the unvaccinated. “There are 39 vaccination centers in Prague. And, for example, in a smaller vaccination center in Vyšehrad, a thousand vacancies are prepared for the weekend on Saturday and a thousand on Sunday, “Hřib assured that Prague will promptly vaccinate anyone who shows interest. However, it is necessary to register with the Metropolitan Vaccination Center at the Congress Center in Vyšehrad via the central register.
Peace, quiet and virus
In the coming days, they will encourage a new campaign from the advertising agency DDB Prague to come and get vaccinated on the streets of cities. “There is a lot of fear and haunting around this topic. So we decided, even in connection with the previous wave of the campaign, to take it in such a light, positive way, “said the creative head of the DDB agency, Dora Pružincová.
The key message is still serious: if you don’t get vaccinated, you risk a severe course of death. “Compared to the previous campaign, we are now playing with topics around the holidays to remind people that even if they associate, they should follow the measures and register for vaccination,” Pružincová specified.
So there were puns like Christmas New Year’s Eve New Castle, Peace of mind and virus or Kašpar Melichar Pí sí ár. The visual campaign in the streets of the city will be complemented by two radio spots, one of which shows the motive of the teacher ‘s struggle with distance learning, the other deals with problems with home office and slow internet.
The mayor of Prague, Hřib, criticized the currently different campaign of the Ministry of Health, which, since the one in Prague, displays a negative message. “The government has chosen the motivation to vaccinate through a rather special campaign with drastic images. We decided to take a different path, “Hřib told reporters.
The summer campaign was free from the DDB agency, but this is different. “Two campaigns were completely free, we agreed here and paid part of it, mainly wage costs,” said city spokesman Vít Hofman.
