This project, led by the university, will allow the pooling of different sectors (IT, real estate, etc.) and should above all lead, in the long term, to the creation of a university center for teaching and research in health. This future campus, which is part of the State-Region plan contract, concerned “around 15,000 students”, according to Dean Élie Serrano.
Two Toulouse sites are currently being considered for its establishment: near the Oncopole, on the Langlade site, or in Rangueil, in place of the current Faculty of Medicine. “The first stone will not be laid before 2025-2026”, Élie Serrano, who specifies that the new governance will be elected during the first half of 2022.
