The adventure of the Under 19 national team in Turkey ends with a 0-2 against Latvia. The last of the European qualifications is decided by a ‘one-two’ that materializes in the heart of the first half. Latvia starts with a good attitude but there is Amici to stem the attempts of Krancmanis and Lizunovs. On the other hand, Mattia Sancisi looks for the door with no luck. Latvia unlocks it in the exact center of the first half, with Lizunovs. There is no time to absorb the blow, in the biancoazzurra home: a few minutes later the ball ends up again in the San Marino goal, this time pushed by Krancmanis, well assisted by the author of the 1-0, Lizunovs. Bonesso’s boys throw themselves forward and in the half hour there is a good chance for Lazzari, stopped by Šaraņins. In the end, more work for the two goalkeepers on the attempts of Vapne and Cola. The last ring is precisely from Vapne, whose conclusion is printed on the woods. Resumption with Latvia immediately looking for the 3-0, denied by Amici first on the attempt by Lizunovs and then on that of Vapne.
Other conclusions from Kaušelis, Krancmanis and Mikšto, before Pasolini earns the yellow card, which unfortunately will not remain the only one of his race. Latvia insists on their search for the trio, while Dolcini creates a good break with a conclusion that does not go to target. In the final part of the race, Pasolini sees yellow for the second time and Latvia still hits the woods (always Vapne). The last attempt at the biancoazzura mark is by Lazzari, whose shot is however imprecise. In the evening the young Titans will return to San Marino.
