Covid-19. More 2,527 cases and nine deaths in Portugal
In total, there have been 1,112,682 cases of Covid-19 in Portugal and 18,283 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, in March 2020.
As for the number of hospitalized, there is a record over 28 inpatient cases, with five fewer cases in intensive care units. At this time, there are 514 people hospitalized with Covid-19 in Portuguese hospitals, of which 75 are in intensive care.
Also noteworthy is the cut rise in incidence, that is, the number of new cases in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants. The number is now 173.7 nationally and 172.9 on the mainland.
On Monday, an earlier update of these data reported an incidence of 156.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants nationwide and 155.3 on the continent.

The Lisbon and Vale do Tejo region continues to be the one with the highest number of new infections (849), followed by the Center region (620) and the North region (616).
In the Algarve 215 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours and in the Alentejo there are 140 new infections. In the autonomous regions, the Azores account for 44 cases and Madeira has a further 43 infections.
Deaths were registered in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (3), Central region (3), North region (2) and Algarve (1).
