After COP26, the Zero Carbon forum returns to Toulouse on November 19
While the end of the year 2021 puts everyone facing the extent of the climate crisis, very present in cities, the Toulouse Zero Carbon forum is back, this Friday, November 19, for the challenges of ecological transition. “From COP21 to COP26, 5 years for the climate”: this is precisely the theme chosen for the event in the presence of the sponsor of the Toulouse Innovative and Sustainable festival, Bertrand Piccard, president of the Solar Impulse Foundation who More than 1000 identified effective and profitable solutions to protect the environment and with which Toulouse Métropole will sign an agreement.
This meeting will be an opportunity to share concerns, reflections but also projects to move towards an essential transformation and a more desirable future. Cities and towns reaffirm their commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050.
Between elected officials, scientists, researchers, public establishments or even private sector companies, more than 30 personalities will take part in debates to be followed live on latribune.fr from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Three sequences will punctuate the day
- Pink city, green city: what projects, what strategy and what indicators for the city of tomorrow that is sustainable and innovative?
- Innovations and Transitions: how to accelerate after COP26? A sequence that borders the new centralities for metropolises and the climate from the angle of mobility.
- Toulouse the climate-space-energy metropolis, with a “space” sequence.
