Overview
Singapore Government announced a new vaccinated travel route (VTL) between Malaysia and Singapore starting on November 29, 2021. This route will open between Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport. VTLs are also coming soon extend to Finland and Sweden.
Currently, travelers traveling to Singapore via other VTLs must present a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure to Singapore and undergo an additional PCR test upon arrival in Singapore. However, further information on eligibility and requirements is expected to be provided by Singapore Government.
What are the changes?
The opening of this VTL will allow fully vaccinated travelers to travel between Malaysia and Singapore without quarantine. Separate VTL will also be opened from Finland to Singapore and Sweden to Singapore.
