TV 2 experiences: Signed for Danish big club
As far as TV 2 is aware, there have previously been offers from both Denmark and France.
Now TV 2 can experience that the full-back has signed for Skjern from the summer of 2022.
The Danish club is now in fourth place in the HTH league with 13 points in ten games. Bjarte Myrhol played for several years in Skjern before retiring after the Olympics in Tokyo and Eivind Tangen is in the club now.
Holand Pettersen’s contract with Elverum expires in the summer of 2022 and the club from Innlandet offered him an extension.
– I thrive very well in Elverum, so it should not be ignored that it will be, but it is very tempting to try something else as well. That’s something I have to think about. I have to find out what is right for me, Holand Pettersen told TV 2 last week before the NM semi-final against Drammen.
The 23-year-old came to Elverum from Sandefjord in 2018 and has also gained the trust of Christian Berge’s national team squad.
In the Gjensidige Cup in Trondheim against Denmark, the Netherlands and France, he got good playing time and praise from the national team manager.
– He has had less playing time than colleague Eric Johansson in Elverum, so a club change may be wise for his further development. He was fantastic in the match against the Netherlands and he will in all probability be seen in the championship in January, says TV 2’s handball expert Bent Svele.
Elverum has had a very good start to this year’s Champions League song. They stand with six points in eight games. Holand Pettersen has 18 goals so far this season.
On Wednesday, the table meets Montpellier HB in Terningen Arena.
TV 2 has been in contact with Simen Holand Pettersen, but he does not want to comment on the matter.
