The project for Cuban television “Russian language on TV” was discussed at the Pushkin Institute
The university located in the southwest of the capital was visited by a representative of the Republic of Cuba headed by the Minister of Education Jose Ramon Saborido and the adviser on education and science of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Russian Federation Gustavo Cobreiro Suarez. A friendly meeting was held by the rector of the Pushkin Institute Margarita Rusetskaya and the vice-rector for educational work Elena Koltakova. The parties expressed their hope for expanding cooperation and new projects.
“At the meeting, the development of a large-scale project for Cuban television” Russian language on TV “was discussed, within the framework of which teachers of the Pushkin Institute and the Havana language create scripts of lessons for a series of TV programs.
Jose Ramon Saborido invited the management and teachers of the university to participate in the XIII International Congress of Higher Education “Universidad-2022”. It will take place in Havana next year.
According to Elena Koltakova, Cuban Russian language teachers and students actively participate in the Pushkin Institute Winter School and the First Ibero-American Online Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language. Also, Cuban children were invited to the XVIII International Olympiad in the Russian language for foreign students.
