In September, the Swedish Aftonbladet newspaper, reported the arrest of a Swedish citizen, originally from Iran, who previously worked for the Security Police (SÄPO) and the Armed Forces. The man was working in security and data protection at the National Food Administration when he was arrested, according to information.
According to DN, he must have committed the crime during the nine years he worked in the security service and the Armed Forces. At the same time as he was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized handling of secret information, it is stated that there are still suspicions that he was spying for a foreign power.
The man was employed by the Military Intelligence and Security Service (MUST) from March 2011 to September 2014, more specifically in KSI, the Office for Special Acquisitions in the Service, one of the most secretive units in MUST, DN was revealed on Tuesday.
