The Gaston Bernard Theater welcomes the company Paradoxe (s) in residence in Châtillon-sur-Seine from November 15 to 19, 2021 for a stage of creation of its new theatrical project Courgette: the adaptation to the stage of the novel Autobiography of a courgette by Gilles Paris.
This residency outing will take place at Salle de Kiki de Montparnasse *. She will offer to discuss with the artistic team and discover some excerpts from this new piece, the premiere of which is scheduled at TGB on May 9, 2022.
Courgette, alias Icare, is a young boy of almost 10 years old who lives alone with his mother. One day, Icarus finds a revolver and tries to “kill the sky” which he considers responsible for his mother’s dismay. She tries to take the weapon away from him, but the shot goes off … After this dramatic accident, Icarus is placed in the Fontaines, a home for flayed children. His life is radically changing …
