ALL ANTWERP. “I thought I had a little Pomeranian… (Antwerp)
Every weekday our reporter and photographer pick a casual passer-by off the street for a nice conversation. Want everyone has a story. And certainly in Antwerp. Today: Sabo Bajram (28).

“I paid more than 2,000 euros for my dog Money. Because I thought it was a purebred dog. A Pomeranian, that is expensive. I bought as a puppy, but after three months I want him very much. I then called the owner of the dog, but he lied. the vet finally said that he would still grow and that it was not a Pomeranian at all. It is a mutual with a Pomeranian.”
“I can’t bring him back now. I have already paid for vaccination and castration. And I get a lot of love from it too. He keeps me company because I don’t know that many people here in Antwerp yet. I haven’t lived here very long. I’m from Macedonia, but I couldn’t be myself there.”
“I like men and even my own father didn’t agree with that. I can be myself here. I wear make-up when I want to to look a little better and I’m a hairdresser. In the beginning I was meant very badly. My boss sees me as a poet’s assistant and not as part of the team. So I have changed. In the meantime, I do work in a good cause. Although I do miss cutting lawyers and doctors. In Macedonia I worked at a heel hairdresser.”
