The President will visit Babiš today at ÚVN, Fiala on Wednesday

Prague – President Miloš Zeman was transferred to a long-term care bed today at the Central Military Hospital in Prague (ÚVN). The main reason is that he can receive visitors. In a press release it she stated ÚVN spokeswoman Jitka Zinke. Visits will last for a maximum of 30 minutes and must comply with measures against the spread of the epidemic.
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (YES) will visit the President in the afternoon, and Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ODS chairman and prime minister Petr Fiala will meet Zeman on Wednesday at 4 p.m. The president has been in the hospital for more than a month.
Zeman has been in the rehabilitation ward in recent days, where his relatives or co-workers could not find him except for the exception, because the hospital banned a visit due to the covid-19 epidemic.
“With the primary intention of allowing the expected visits to the President of the Republic Miloš Zeman, the patient was transferred to a long-term care bed on November 15, 2021,” Zinke said. She stated that all visits to patients in long-term care beds must not last longer than 30 minutes, must take place in the room where the person is hospitalized, and the patient must not be more than two people at a time. The visit must have mouth and nose protection, no signs of respiratory illness and must be demonstrated by completed vaccination, covid-19 or a valid test.
“It is always desirable to consult with the nursing staff about the appropriateness of the date and time of the visit, so that the visit is planned appropriately for the patient, except during examinations, meals, hygiene, etc.,” the spokeswoman added.
Babiš will be the first to come to Zeman today, at 5:00 pm before the government’s evening meeting. They have only spoken by phone since the president’s transfer to the hospital on October 10.
On Tuesday, Čaputová will visit Zeman in the hospital. The head of the presidential office, Vratislav Mynář, said in recent days that the president would like to meet with adepts for ministers.
Zeman has been treated at ÚVN since October 10 due to disorders of his chronic disease, he was originally in the clinic of intensive care. Surgeon Pavel Pafko, who is a member of the president’s medical council, formerly the server iROZHLAS.cz that Zeman has chronic liver disease, indicated that it was cirrhosis.
