Sex Sweden Major MVP: Cyber - SiegeGG
Jamie “Cyber” Ramos is SiegeGG MVP for Six Sweden Major. His exceptional individual effort in the grand finals helped FaZe Clan secure the victory, and he broke the record best of five guys of all time with 57 kills on five maps. Cyber finished with an astonishing 1.27 SiegeGG rating, the third highest in the competition, and also finished a Six Major record with 176 kills throughout the tournament.
Cyber’s dominance in Sweden was extensive. He had the second highest score of all players through the group stage, where he did not go below a rating of 1.13 on a single map and played two games over a dizzying rating of 2.00.
Cyber was crucial in taking down Team BDS in the playoffs, achieving 30 deaths in just 25 innings during the FaZe Clans 2-0 victory. Their semifinal match against a surging DWG KIA team was the Brazilian star’s lone fatal show, but despite fighting, Cyber could still make an impact when an entry difference of +6 was expected.
Finally, in the last match of the Major against the world champions Ninjas in Pajamas, Cyber returned to its inhuman levels of form. His rating of 1.25 is the highest of all players in a major final since Six Major Raleigh 2019.
Overall, Cyber’s performance in Sweden is without a doubt the most valuable. Winning the SiegeGG MVP Medal is Cyber’s first individual award of his career, and he is the third Brazilian player in a row to win an MVP.
EVP Awards
Although there can only be one MVP, there were five other fantastic achievements worth the EVP (Exceptionally Valuable Player) award.
In alphabetical order they are:
Alem4o, Team oN
Although he was knocked out of the tournament earlier than many had expected, Team oNes superstar Karl “Alem4o” Zarth is in joint first place with Yoo “Yass” Sang-Hoon in the Rating leaderboard, with a SiegeGG Rating of 1.35.
The Brazilian also finished as the best-ranked player in his team in three of the seven matches he played in Sweden Major, which speaks wonderfully about his consistency in this event – reinforced by a team-high KOST of 75%.
Muzi, ninjas and pajamas
The 2021 Six Invitational EVP is back on this list after his appearances on the Major. Murilo “Muzi” Moscatelli was Ninjas in Pajamas’ best frag in Sweden, with 145 kills in his name.
Muzi was also the team’s highest ranked player against Spacestation Gaming in their quarterfinal match, which was a rematch of the SI 2020 Grand Final.
Psycho, ninjas and pajamas
Gustavo “Psycho” Rigal needed a good performance in Sweden after a start record of 4-20 on BR6 Step 3. Well, the Brazilian veteran delivered. His numbers in that area have been impressive to say the least, as he finished with 35 innings, the second highest number just after Cyber (40).
In addition, Psycho was the highest ranked player for Ninjas in Pajamas in the grand final against FaZe Clan (draw with co-EVP Muzi). But their efforts to win a second title were brave, but in vain.
soulz1, FaZe Clan
Lucas “soulz1” Schinke was crucial in FaZe Clan’s conquest of the Nordic countries. The 20-year-old stuck on four occasions in his semifinal match against DWG KIA, with two of them in Oregon’s overtime. He would back up those four connections with two more, to end the tournament with six, the highest of all players present.
The Brazilian also helped his team with 15 seedlings throughout the tournament and the second highest score in his team in the grand final, just behind MVP Jaime “Cyber” Ramos.
yep, DWG KIA
Finally, we have DWG KIA’s player Yoo “Yass” Sang-Hoon. The Korean player was decisive in DWG KIA’s Cinderella race and received a tournament-leading SiegeGG rating of 1.35. He also got 22 innings for his team, the same number as his teammate Jang “RIN” Byeong-uk.
Overall, his numbers were crucial to the Korean’s qualification for SI 2022 after unexpectedly surviving to the so-called “death squad”.
