Prague will once again host a lively international conference on 5G network security
Prague will once again host an international conference on 5G network security. Third year Prague Security Conference 5G will take place on November 30 and December 1. Experts and top politicians are to gather in the Czech capital. The last was the former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The National Office for Cyber and Information Security, in cooperation with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is behind the event.
Thanks to the previous two years, the Czech Republic managed to write on the map about the world development around 5G. It also supported the security warning issued by NÚKIB against the Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE.
The so-called Prague proposals were created at the first conference. These are the principles according to which to assess the 5G supply chain and the like. The second year brought the Prague 5G Repository, where individual countries share best practices. Among other things, it was called for the development and deployment of OpenRAN.
“The aim of the third The Prague 5G Security Conference is to identify the implications of 5G security for the introduction of new and disruptive technologies and their impact on national security. The key findings will be summarized in the conference results, ”inform the organizers.
Prague also recently hosted this year’s European Cyber Security Challenge. Among other things, the state wanted to point out the lack of people in the field of cyber security.
