In Russia, the requirements for holding public events in closed rooms have changed – their participants, with QR codes, are allowed to increase to 70 percent. The corresponding decree of the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, entered into force on Monday, November 15. The document is posted on the official portal legal information.
According to the decree, the number of participants in the event is calculated from the design capacity of the enclosed space. QR codes of vaccination or previous coronavirus infection should be available not only for guests, but also for employees of the event.
In addition, event organizers must send an application for their holding to the regional executive authorities. The decision on its conduct by the local authorities must be made in agreement with the sanitary doctor.
Earlier, bills on QR codes in transport and in public places were submitted to the State Duma. The work of public transport, pharmacies, grocery stores and retail outlets with essential goods is not regulated by the bill.
With the introduction of QR codes in transport and public places in the country, a transitional period will be announced, valid until February 1, 2022, said Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova. According to her, the introduction of measures on QR codes due to the spread of COVID-19 applies to citizens over 18 years old and will not affect children and adolescents.
