Tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates – Monaco’s National Day took place on Saturday, November 13 at the 2020 World Expo in Dubai. On this occasion, Jean Castellini, Minister of Finance and Economy, and Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, signed a convention to eliminate double taxation in income tax and prevent tax evasion and fraud.

Cédric Braquetti appointed Secretary General of the National Council – On November 12, Cédric Braquetti became the new Secretary General of the National Council. He succeeds Sébastien Siccardi, now Director General of the Department of Equipment, Environment and Town Planning. Cédric Braquetti was previously responsible for the Budget and the Economy at the National Council.
