The new Mexican restaurants (and with a lot of salero) in Greater Lisbon
Tacos, quesadillas, margaritas and mezcal are some of the common elements in the various spaces that have opened in recent weeks.
At a time when travel abroad still deserves consideration, if you want to go to Mexico you don’t even need to leave Lisbon. The city has provoked several restaurants dedicated to the gastronomy of this country. Between tacos, quesadillas and burritos, there’s a lot to try and you don’t even need to catch the plane. Put the sombrero on, follow this NiT script.
Before the summer, there was only one Taqueria space in Lisbon. A few months later, there are already three brand restaurants in the city, owned by the same people responsible for Espada, a place dedicated to fish, in Cais do Sodré. Next to it, in the summer of 2020, a taco house was inaugurated with proposals for salmon, shrimp and lobster.
The seller concept opened a year later in Chiado and later arrived at Avenidas Novas. Tacos are divided into fish, meat and vegetarian tacos. You can try, for example, croaker with cucumber and cucumber and mint green sauce, tuna fish with mayonnaise, jalapeno pepper and pomegranate.
On the other side of the Wall, you have to see the new Los Tres Hermanos. In this restaurant order the fried shrimp taco has been the most popular since the beginning of the project. The meal can also be made up of ceviche, meat empanadas, processed cheese with chorizo, or nachos with beans and cheddar sauce.
