Victory in the Coupe de France?
It was a good time, because we were all fused together. It is the moment here that remains the most engraved in my memory. We also wanted to give a lot of happiness to the supporters, to all the staff of the club and to us.
How do I feel when the Parc des Princes is full?
I was not aware of all this because I arrived at the club at a difficult time, in the midst of the Covid pandemic. I had played here without the public and I was impressed in the first match when the stands were opened at the Park. The way the fans were fervent, the way they pulled the team and the atmosphere was really nice.
How was my arrival in the city of Paris?
Everyone loves Paris, wants to be in Paris. It is a very beautiful city, very pleasant. Even though I arrived at a time when everything was closed. I now get an idea of what it’s like to live in Paris. Life is very good here, it is a city full of life as I said. It is very important for me.

What would I tell the boy that I was 5 years old?

Am I calm off the pitch and turn into a match? How is my personality?
Off the pitch, it’s easy to see that I’m very calm, I don’t like having a problem, I like being in my space. I’m not very outgoing, but when there are moments of joy with my teammates, friends or family, I’m not afraid to show my emotions.
And it is true that on the pitch I am totally different from what I am off the pitch because I am a person who loves to win. I like to succeed and I think that in order to do so you have to transform a little.
Is it a lot of joy to be in the field?
Without a doubt, it is a lot of joy, especially when you have friends and teammates helping you. It’s never easy to arrive at a club without knowing the language well. And to have someone to help me, like Kimpembe, or Rafinha, they helped me a lot and these attentions got a lot more joyful. I think it is very important.
Danilo “I arrived here with the idea that I needed to speak French in order to be able to integrate naturally and quickly. “
My learning French?
I arrived here without knowing how to speak a word in French. I didn’t know how to construct sentences, just loose words. I arrived here with the idea that I needed to speak French in order to be able to integrate myself naturally and quickly. In the group and in the club, as well as in the city. It made me take the plunge, helped me speak better and develop more in my daily life with my teammates.
How is my life in Paris?
I have a quiet life. Outside of training, I don’t go out a lot and I am a person who likes to stay at home. But when I go out, I like to visit and discover new places. I am getting to know different aspects of French culture. I think it is very important. I also go out for meals.
I like to go out very well dressed?
It depends where I’m going (laughs). But in general, I like to dress quiet and comfortable. If I just go out for a walk in a park I’ll be comfortable. But for a dinner, I am more elegant.
Danilo “I am a person who sacrifices a lot for my family. “
A few words about my family?
There is my mother, my two brothers. I also have brothers on my father’s side, who unfortunately passed away. I didn’t know him well, because he left my mother when I was a baby and I didn’t have time, life is like that. But I am a person who sacrifices a lot for my family.
I have two brothers and my mother worked a lot and I had to take care of them because of a big age difference, 13 years old. I was a bit like a father to them. It’s something so I’m proud of. Now I have my wife and 3 children. The life that I had younger helped me and followed me with a different way of thinking and a different way of seeing life with my children.
After what I’ve been through, nothing can happen to me?
Life is very unpredictable, but if something happens to me, I will always have a way around it. I think life is like that. If we focus on the negative, we don’t move forward. This is how I lead my life, my head always in the right place. With a smile, and let’s go. What is the difficulty?
Danilo “good things are going to happen. “
My children love Paris?
Yes, even if at the beginning it was complicated because change is never easy. We leave friends behind. They had habits. At first they didn’t think they would learn French, but they are already well adjusted and have friends. It is important.
Is it important to feel that the family is well in order to be happy here?
Yes, of course, because if the family isn’t happy you won’t be either. It doesn’t matter what happens at the club.
