Luxembourg. An accident kills two and seriously injures two at the Lorraine border

A dramatic accident. It is around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021, when two cars collide between Bascharage and Linger, in Luxembourg, near the border with Lorraine.
While driving towards Bascharage, a motorist entered the oncoming lane, shortly before the underpass, under the roundabout called “Biff”. He collided with another vehicle, which was oncoming.
Two deceased people
The driver of the second vehicle, aged 22 and living in France, died of her injuries at the scene of the accident. The occupant of the oncoming car, aged 40, also died. He resided in Dudelange.
Two other people, seriously injured, were taken to hospital.
The driver arrested
The driver, who was driving towards Bascharage, tested positive for alcohol. He was arrested by order of the prosecution.
It was police technicians who were responsible for determining the exact course of the accident.
