Let’s stop squirming and stuff the crowns into the stalks. It’s time to go to the West. The window of Miloš Horký

Description: Stubborn investigation and pursuit of discounts are an ancient Czech ‘sport’, but the current development records the exact opposite. Finally, we have a chance to get richer neighbors.
We are a nation of savers. Supermarkets regularly buy the types of goods for which there is the biggest discount. We have always saved, and even during the First Republic there were not many who could throw off their hooves. Then another war broke out, communism came, and after Zápotocký’s monetary reform in 1953, real egalitarianism ensued.
It was related to the communist philosophy of austerity. The state plan proclaimed – it is only possible to increase the standard of living if we earn it! And so the fate of Czech households was to save. No one would have provided the Communists with significant funds at the time, but on the other hand, a subordinated bank did not print uncovered money as it does today. Inflation was a scarecrow, as it was during the First Republic, and it is a scarecrow today.
This kind of communism has apparently remained in us, even the new government wants to cut spending. why? After all, the whole of Western Europe lives on debt and is fine! I apologize for the naivety of this call, but the average indebtedness of the countries of the European Union is about 92 percent. (Debt is calculated as the ratio of government debt to gross national income and includes the debts of municipalities, regions, state funds, contributory organizations or health insurance companies.) The whole of Europe would therefore have to work for free for about a year (!) To adjust its financial situation . Throughout the year, she should not eat, drink, travel anywhere, etc.
He is forcing us a profaned ideology again
Let us recall that the European Union adopted a directive in Maastricht in 1992 that national debt must not exceed 60 percent of GDP. But if we look at Europe’s debt in an analytical way, we find, for example, that its eastern, post-communist countries, have a significantly lower debt-to-GDP ratio than the rest of Europe. Yes, this seems to be a consequence of the planned economy. The European Union reports about 100% debt-to-GDP ratio for Western countries. Sweden with 40 percent, the Netherlands with 55 percent, Ireland with a debt of about 60 percent of GDP, Germany ‘owes’ about 70 percent of GDP, Austria 85 percent. And then the rest of Europe is rushing to ruin – Italy 155 percent, Portugal 135 percent, Spain 120 percent, France 115 percent. The highlight is the ‘Greek tragedy’ with 205 percent debt to GDP. And the European Central Bank is printing the uncovered euro one hundred and six!
Even among post-communist countries, debt peaks in the south are beginning. Croatia, which aspires to adopt the euro (!), Is the premium with 90 percent of debt to GDP, then Orbán’s Hungary with 80 percent. Poland and Slovakia are doing well with a 60% debt-to-GDP ratio, exactly according to the Maastricht directive. The tiny post-communist states of Lithuania and Latvia owe an unprecedented 45 percent! And at the end of the imaginary ranking of total debtors is, consider, the Czechia s 44 percent indebtedness of GDP! But we can still read in our media: “Without change, the Czechia will become one of the most indebted countries. Debt grew almost the most in the EU.” (HERE) It means that someone in the Czech Republic is forcing us again on that profaned communist ideology – to save!
Indestructible egalitarianism
In the post-war years, during the Caribbean crisis and the hippie movement, ie during the Cold War, Western Europe was able to cope with its economy much better than the Communists who were in power in our country. Exactly at a time when the West was sinking into debt, it was saving itself in our country. That’s why the Czechs were addicted to wonderful Fords and Mercedes, and at the same time they were glad that they managed to start a juggler … People in the west went to Saint Tropez, Mallorca and the Canary Islands, and the Czechs came to the cottage in misery. At a time when the whole world had changed to development and forced changes in society, the normalizing Husák and the ‘pole in the fence’ Milouš Jakeš were in power in our country. What could you expect from such boys?
Under such circumstances, Václav Havel was a gift from above. But he too came across a lobby that was beyond his power, because the power that was released as soon as the ‘Iron Curtain’ fell swept away himself. He opposed the industrial lobby with his ideas, as did Lech Walesa. Havel and Wales were visionaries, both wanting a fairer world. But neither came up with a vision that included a just world while overcoming communist egalitarianism. That’s why they turned out the way they did.
The difference between capitalist and communist philosophy
The American Declaration of Independence of July 4, 1776 guarantees the right to life, liberty and the opportunity to follow one’s happiness (pursue hapinnes), which is in the capital economy supporting free enterprise. However, you can be the type of French revolutionary who coined the motto Egalité, Fraternité, Liberté in 1789, ie equality, brotherhood, freedom. To make no mistake, equality is at the heart of communism.
If you profess the communist ideology of egalitarianism, you cannot pursue your entrepreneurial happiness unconditionally. It can sometimes mean unreservedly, as we have seen a hundred times in European and American history. So free enterprise has nothing to do with equality. On the contrary, it is a path to social stratification. I think it is clear that at the end of the 18th century, Europe decided to follow American ‘luck’ and reject French equality. Our and the world’s oligarchs are tangible evidence
inflate? Seamlessly!
The elections therefore gave the Czech Republic a new government, which brings a new concept of governance. It comes at a time when the world is in global turmoil. In addition to the Covid-19 pandemic and due to the stagnant economy, we have the threat of refugees, assassinations and growing civil inequality. But we are members of the European Union and NATO, our economy has focused on Western markets, so we have managed the economic and political transformation since 1989 to be ‘number one’. But the seventh power, the Czech media, is calling again after a change of government. The easy way to Europe is through a simple path, through further government debt. Only then will we get to where Western Europe has been for a long time.
Sure, there is a risk of inflation. But that should not be a problem, because I will have to deal with it at the European Central Bank and the European Commission. And they will have to deal with it in half of Europe before it’s our turn. I promise it will be a ‘soft pillow and a smooth landing’ … May our civil servants, teachers, paramedics, live soldiers, postmen and firefighters, and, last but not least, our retirees with dignity. With permission – perhaps so sincere envy we can afford. The outgoing government has given all the new trump cards, we are a country with one of the smallest debts in the EU. Let our talent finally show. Do you disagree? Then you are hardened communists like comrades from the KSČM! As our largest press server writes: “It’s time to go to the West. Let us finally get to Europe. “
