The time of the main event

Rocha beats and stops Barraza
Why this fight was not stopped two rounds earlier is sensible. Rocha overwhelmed Barraza from the jump.
He broke down Barraza in every way. Upstairs, downstairs, it did not matter. He released his hands and connected on 233 strokes compared to 98 for Barraza. Finally, early in the ninth round, the referee had seen enough of Rocha beating Barreza and waving it away.
Rocha is no one to mess with. He is slowly and surely becoming a growing prospect in the welterweight division.
Rocha cooking though four
Alla Rocha. He lands upstairs, downstairs and exerts all the pressure. Barraza has to come up with something and is in a hurry. It seems like he’s looking for a KO with one stroke. Will he get it?
Co-main event time
It’s time for the co-main event Munguia vs Rosado when Alexis Rocha (17-1, 11 KO) takes on Jeovanis Barraza (23-1, 15 KO) in welterweight.
D’Mitrius Ballard looks sluggish in the victory over Valenzuela
I got Ballard to win but not after what the judges had done. The fight was much closer than the score showed. Valenzuela had things in control in the opening rounds. Ballard came into the later rounds. He found a home with the checkered left hook and made it a focal point when he went to the body with it. Those shots took their toll on Valenzuela and worn him down all the way to the last clock.
Not the best show for Ballard. He took too long to get started due to his 23-month notice. At the end of the day, a win is a win and you take it how you can.
Here comes Ballard
On his way into the eighth round, Ballard has roared back in the last three rounds. He finds a home with the left hook that is tearing at Valenzuela in the process.
