Is Spain vs Sweden on TV tonight? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch the World Cup qualifier
Spain host Sweden tonight in a winner-takes-all match in the race to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Luis Enrique’s team leads Sweden by one point in the Group B table and will secure an automatic qualifying spot if they avoid a loss in Sevilla. However, Sweden will qualify as group winners if they beat La Roja, with the other placed side into the playoffs.
Sweden went into pole position this week to top the group but suffered a shock 2-0 loss to Georgia on Thursday, while Spain tricked Greece 1-0 thanks to Pablo Sarabia’s penalty in the first half.
These teams met in the group stage of the European Championships this summer, where Alvaro Morata missed a penalty for the final semi-finalists in a 0-0 draw at Estadio La Cartuja de Sevilla.
Here is all the information you need to know before the decisive qualifier tonight.
When is Spain vs Sweden?

What’s the team’s news?
Spain went into the international window with a long injury list, with Pedri, Ferran Torres, Marcos Llorente, Gerard Moreno, Mikel Oyarzabal, Eric Garcia, Ansu Fati and Yeremi Pino all unavailable.
Alvaro Morata, Dani Olmo and Pau Torres have all returned after missing the Nations League finals last month. Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Cesar Azpilicueta can, together with Olmo and Torres, move into the starting eleven before the visit to Sweden tonight.
Despite the 2-0 loss against Georgia, Sweden appointed a strong side to the match and will probably not make too many changes. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who started against Georgia, can drop to the bench, as it is unlikely that he will start two matches in quick succession given his fight with injury this year.
Any lineups
Spain: Simon; Azpilicueta, Torres, Laporte, Alba; Busquets, Rodri, Koke; Olmo, Morata, Sarabia
Sweden: Olson; Krafth, Lindelof, Nisson, Augustinsson; Claesson, Olsson, Svanberg, Forsberg; Isaac, Kulusevsky
Odds
Spain: 4/11
Draw: 10/3
Sweden: 9/1
Prediction
Despite a long list of absentees, Spain are in good shape under Luis Enrique and will be confident of winning a result with their hopes of development in their own hands. However, Sweden is still a formidable outfit and they caused them problems with their defensive structure during the European Championships. This match really suits them, but they will probably not offer enough threats to win the match and take the three points required. Spain 2-1 Sweden
