DPD will deliver emission-free to the 45 largest cities in the Netherlands by 2025 –
From 2025, municipalities will have the option of establishing a separate zero-emission zone. International parcel deliverer DPD has set the target to deliver emission-free in the 45 largest cities in the Netherlands by 2025. In addition, Dynamic Parcel Distribution aims to be fully electric by 2030. While Dynamic Parcel Distribution first set itself the target of emission-free deliveries in 30 Dutch cities, the international parcel deliverer is now adjusting its ambition to 45 cities. Precisely because sustainability is such an important subject and DPD wants to contribute to a better world.

Greenest parcel deliverer
Eric Dietz, CEO DPD Netherlands: “Our ambition is to become the greenest parcel deliverer in Europe. That is why in 2025 we will not only deliver emission-free in the 30 largest cities, but in the 45 largest cities in the Netherlands. But our ambition is greater. We aim to replace all buses with electric buses by 2030. We have been CO2 neutral since 2012, and now we are going to make our process structurally sustainable, starting not only in the Netherlands, but throughout Europe. All this under the motto: we all share the same address. Namely the earth and we have to be careful with that.”
