00:10 – WTCR

The WTCR is the Touring Car World Cup. It is called the World Cup and not the World Cup just because the constructors cannot be directly involved in the competition. They can only do this by supporting teams that line up with their cars. This was the formula found by the promoter (Eurosport Events) and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) to reduce (a lot) the costs of the championship and, at the same time, attract more drivers and teams. Each team can only have two cars and as qualified brands are limited by supplying four (in practice this means that there are two private teams per car brand).
