“Exodus” in the choreography of Anna Hop to the music of Wojciech Kilar and “Bieguni-Harnasie” in the choreography of Izadora Weiss to the music of Karol Szymanowski access to elements – Polish music and a motif, wandering and searching for a place.
– The topics of fate and the user, do we have any questions that I ask for them, have an impact on PAP Anna Hop. – In music, it inspired me to repeat myself to repeat, to soak, although the repeated ones are repeated each time different. This brought me back to the repetition of human fate – as if every generation has a different history, but humanity still falls into the same patterns – she explained.
– I decided to choose a collective hero who is not only humanity. In general, I wanted motion or property to have a lot of mass, and there are also motion that works on a macro basis, e.g. in space, or micro at the atomic level. Humanity and animals, an anthill and a city, so that everything is connected in a way, it only differs in scale – she added.
The part of the law, the first entry to the music of “Kilar,” is entitled “The Book”, the second part – “Book of the Repeat” is based on Piano Concerto No. 2 (movements Largo funebre and Larghetto riflessivo). The third part is entitled “Book of Fall” and draws musically from “The Mother of God”.
– It was natural that since Wojciech Kilar’s “Exodus” draws from a biblical theme, this is one of my inspirations, but my attitude not only applies to the Bible, it has a universal dimension. It concerns wandering, because humanity has been moving since the dawn of time – she explained. – Whether they are caused by the resettlement or the life of nomadic peoples, whether it is emigration, refugeeism, I am interested in the relationship with a group of people and not only people, movement regardless of the goal and all people. …
The dramatic concept of Izadorująca Weiss, the choreographers and the staging of the performance “Bieguni-Hnasie”, build yourself on the basis of the prose of Olga Tokarczuk with the music of Karol Szymanowski. “The artist reaches for an episode The poles from the book Tokarczuk with the same title and connects it with Symphony No. 4 Concerting and Harnasie Szymanowski, also with the fictional structure of this highlander mime ballet “, reported the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera.
“Bieguni” for a literary monograph on the phenomena of mobility, movement and travel anxiety. According to the author, a comprehensive method of fixing the title, author, atavism, and nomadic drive has become. The axis around which the author has built the book is not a character or a story, but the phenomenon of traveling. The title of the book “refers to the implementation of the Russian sect of the eighteenth century, whose members and members believed that the world was the work of Satan, and when they ended, Satan has the best access. To escape from the devil, to stay alive all the time b. she writes that she met young survivors who wrote that they were taking the subway all the time after the uprising.
According to Izadora Weiss, “no one can alarm this idea better than dancers whose lives are tame evil with constant motion.”
The Szymansie ballet was created out of the composer’s fascination with the wild and free nature of the mountain, the people of the Podhale mountain, the people of the Podhale region, and the introduction of the dance. “At Izadora Weiss Bieguni-Harnasie, those rebels on the outside, the protagonists of the play, Annuszki, have an extraordinary power of attraction. She is suffocating in an atmosphere of family and social oppression. He senses that in order to become in man, one has to come face to face with freedom. The spiritual transformation experienced by Annushka enabled her to fill the empty person. The guide in the heroine’s spiritual maturation will be Galina, the personification of female freedom “- we read in the description of the performance on the TW-ON website.
After the premiere, the performances can be watched on November 14, 16 and 17, and on February 11, 12 and 13.
